NBHA 2010 District Qualification Rules

Hello Members;

 

There are a few things I would like to note to you, the members, please if you have any questions regarding the following notes contact me by email @ nbhaca15@aol.com or leave message on my phone and I will return your call @

SHOWS:   We will be offering the OPEN class only.  Due to the non-interest in members in the senior and youth classes, we cannot afford to offer them.  Please remember, this is why our entry fees are at a low price and affordable for all ages.

All shows will be Co-sanctioned with WPRA, ACBRA & BRN4D (note:  $500.00 added is double points for brn4d).

 

ENTRY FEE:  We are dropping our entry fees due to the continued drop in our economy; we would like to make our NBHA events fun and affordable times that the family can enjoy to participate in and still afford to put food on the table!  You can see the attached schedule for more information.

 

NEWSLETTER:  Please note, We will update the web page with our newsletter by the 1st of each month as well as via email, due to the ever increasing costs for postage, we will no longer be mailing out newsletters.  I will keep a copy of the current newsletters at the show for your review. 

 

POINTS/RULES:  There will be a NBHA District 15 Binder at every show.  This Binder will include the NBHA Rule Book along with Points and show results for the year.  We have chosen to use a larger point system as approved by the NBHA.  It will be the same format but a larger scale, 5,4,3,2,1 is what we have done in the past, but with the amount of members in our district we will point 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.

 

YEAR END AWARDS:  Cecil Phillips saddles endorsed by JERRI MANN will be given to the first in each division (we will go down to 10 places in each division).  YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE YOUR YEAR-END AWARDS, IF YOU (THE MEMBER) ARE NOT PRESENT TO RECEIVE YOUR AWARD IT WILL BE HANDED DOWN TO THE NEXT PRESENT MEMBER.

 

SPONSORS:  THANK YOU TO ANNADALE EQUINE CENTER FOR PROVIDING US WITH A GREAT AMOUNT OF DOLLARS FOR OUR 2010 SEASON AND BEING NAMED AS OUR EXCLUSIVE SPOSNOR.  We have available web page space for $100.00 for the year along with announcements at our shows throughout the events for additional sponsors.  If the Sponsor has a banner we will gladly hang that as well for an additional $100.00. 

 

VET OUTS:  If you are at a show and your horse pulls up lame, you will need to notify our office before the first contestant runs in the Open class, NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

DISTRICT AWARD QUALIFICATION:  You must make at least 11 (CHANGE:  only takes 9) shows of our 15 (please note we have 4 shows that are double pointed, make these and you have 8 of your 11) to be eligible for year-end awards (we are giving quality awards and feel your participation at our shows will help you to earn such nice awards).   Our double pointed shows will be pointed only for an additional $5.00 award fee per horse and $10.00 Process Fee per entry (cash raffle ticket option). 

 

SHOW INFORMATION:        DRESS CODE WILL BE INFORCED AT ALL RACES

 

 

CIRCEL N Shows:  Entries close 30 minutes (1/2 hour before the show time), NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

Tulare Fairground shows:  Entries close 11 AM.  NO EXCEPETIONS.  You may choose to roll your time over from the BRN4D as we will go right into the NBHA CA 15 Open Class directly after their last class has run for the day.  The ground will be prepped going straight into our district race in the same manor as it was for the BRN4D show.

 

No members are to be in the Office during our shows, only office personnel.  If you have an issue that needs

Immediate attention and no one is at the sign up table, please find Janet.  Thank You.

 

All discrepancies will need to be brought to the attention of your district director.

 

Timed Runs will be limited to 80 per show, if you are not at the gate and timed runs are cut off you will not be

offered a refund, it is your responsibility to be at the show in time and be ready at the gate as we have allowed

enough time for the timed runs that we have sold (see show schedule).  NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

ADDED MONEY:  We will offer $500.00 added money to the open class at each show for our 2010 season.  Our District Finals will have a minimum of $1,000.00 added money.

 

ENTRY FEE:  Open Class will have an entry fee of $30.00 + $10.00 process fee; this process fee gives you the option to fill out raffle tickets for a cash raffle @ year end district finals (see RAFFLE for rules).

 

RAFFLE: Our 2010 raffle will be a CASH BACK offer of places 1-5 and you must be present to win, as follows:

 

                        1st Place            $1,000.00

                        2nd Place           $  500.00

                        3RD place           $  400.00

                        4th Place            $  300.00

                        5th Place            $  200.00
